Celestial Quilt | Paper Pattern

The Celestial Quilt paper pattern is printed on a 5.5" x 8.5" stapled paper booklet, enclosed in a clear zip bag.

The Celestial Quilt Pattern uses a combination of techniques including curves, half-rectangle triangles, and half-square triangles to achieve a starry effect. While this pattern features many curved blocks, I’ve given extra room for trimming in the templates and provided both a blog tutorial and video tutorials to help you trim these curved blocks to perfection! I also have a tutorial to walk you through HRT creation and trimming. This pattern can be made with 4 colors of yardage or a fat quarter bundle, and is available in a baby, throw, or queen size with optional borders.

All Alderwood Studio patterns can be used to make quilts for personal use, gifting, or selling in small batches with designer credit. Please don’t use my patterns for mass produced items. If you’d like to license a design for mass production, reach out via my contact form.

Quilt sizes included in this pattern:

• Baby: 36" x 36"

• Square Throw: 54" x 54"

• Throw: 54" x 72"

• Twin: 72" x 90"

• Queen: 90" x 108"

Pre-washing fabric will result in shrinkage, some cotton fabrics can shrink up to 1%-3%, some cotton blends and wovens may shrink even more. Please take this in to account how much you need for your project based on your preferences.

We recommend to hand wash fabric with mild, bleach free detergent and hang dry to minimize bleeding colors and shrinkage in your final product.

When machine washing: Wash on a gentle cold water cycle with like colors. Also recommend a color catcher to help minimize bleeding colors.

Tumble dry on low heat.
