Awesome Ocean | Paper Pattern

The Awesome Ocean paper pattern is printed on a 8.5" x 11" stapled paper booklet, enclosed in a clear zip bag.

Awesome Ocean is a sampler quilt pattern featuring nine different underwater friends including: Salty Seahorse, Octavian (octopus), Angelica (angel fish), Tony the Turtle, Chuckles (clown fish), Puffy (puffer fish), Mr. Manatee, Kelp, and Preppy the Whale. 

The pattern includes instructions for Small (two of each block) and Large (six of each block) sizes and is fat quarter-friendly. All fabric is rotary cut and sewn together using conventional patchwork piecing. Please refer to the pattern back image for quilt sizes and materials requirements.

This pattern also includes diagrams and charts showing all of the pieces needed to make each block. You can use these as a reference while making the pattern projects, or as a guide for making individual blocks and scrappy projects.

Awesome Ocean quilts include small pieces. The pattern will walk you through the process of sewing them with both diagrams and written instructions for each step.

Pre-washing fabric will result in shrinkage, some cotton fabrics can shrink up to 1%-3%, some cotton blends and wovens may shrink even more. Please take this in to account how much you need for your project based on your preferences.

We recommend to hand wash fabric with mild, bleach free detergent and hang dry to minimize bleeding colors and shrinkage in your final product.

When machine washing: Wash on a gentle cold water cycle with like colors. Also recommend a color catcher to help minimize bleeding colors.

Tumble dry on low heat.
