Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 12-1/2in Square | **Left Handed**
Designer: Creative Grids
Introducing the first truly left-handed square rulers on the market! Now you can experience all of the great features of one of the most popular Creative Grids squares, but printed specifically for lefties!
The markings on this 12-1/2 inch square are a mirror image of our right-handed square so lefties will no longer have to deal with numbers that are upside down and reversed! This 12-1/2 square ruler features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments. Use the easy-to-read, black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4 inch grip sides to cut whole inches.
The 1/4 inch dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented Turn-A-Round feature — designated by the easy to read, numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2 inch grip sides — to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance. A 45 degree angle is printed in black and is used to trim half-square triangles to size. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the square so the center of the ruler is easily distinguishable. Use these lines to square up blocks based on four-patches or embroidered and appliqued blocks.
The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! Scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a tutorial of these features. This left-handed option is also available as a 6-1/2-inch square; a 6-1/2 x 24-1/2-inch rectangle; and a 6-1/2 x 12-1/2-inch rectangle.
Total Size - 12-1/2in x 12-1/2in
Pre-washing fabric will result in shrinkage, some cotton fabrics can shrink up to 1%-3%, some cotton blends and wovens may shrink even more. Please take this in to account how much you need for your project based on your preferences.
We recommend to hand wash fabric with mild, bleach free detergent and hang dry to minimize bleeding colors and shrinkage in your final product.
When machine washing: Wash on a gentle cold water cycle with like colors. Also recommend a color catcher to help minimize bleeding colors.
Tumble dry on low heat.
