The Printemps Quilt paper pattern is printed on a 5.5" x 8.5" saddle stitched paper booklet, enclosed in a clear zip bag.

The Printemps Quilt is a block-based design that incorporates traditional quilt elements, including my favorite saw tooth stars, into a modern aesthetic. "Printemps" translates to "springtime" in French and the design is inspired by the spring season of renewal and fresh growth. The cover quilt colors move from the browns of seeds and wintering plants to the soft creams and pinks of new shoots and buds to the rich greens of abundant growth. And the design busts forth from the center of each block like a flower in bloom.

This pattern is written for a confident beginner and perfect for all levels of quilters to show off your favorite fat quarter bundle or ombré palette. This design includes three different colorway versions:

- Cover Version: Uses a combination of fat quarters and yardage with 3 colors plus background in each block.

- Fat Quarter Version: Uses fat quarters for all colors plus background yardage with 4 colors (plus background) in each block.

- Color Limited Version: Uses yardage and includes 2 colors plus background.

The pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes:

- Baby: 40" x 40"

- Throw: 60" x 60"

- Twin: 68" x 88" (can also be made as a large throw measuring 60" x 80" if borders are left off)

- Queen: 88" x 88"

This pattern is not for resale but quilts made with it may be sold on a small scale with design credit to Abby Maed, LLC.

Pre-washing fabric will result in shrinkage, some cotton fabrics can shrink up to 1%-3%, some cotton blends and wovens may shrink even more. Please take this in to account how much you need for your project based on your preferences.

We recommend to hand wash fabric with mild, bleach free detergent and hang dry to minimize bleeding colors and shrinkage in your final product.

When machine washing: Wash on a gentle cold water cycle with like colors. Also recommend a color catcher to help minimize bleeding colors.

Tumble dry on low heat.
